My morning good morning still has sleepy eyes. The coffee is already ready with a nice lit cigarette. I am like this, natural. Not perfect, or maybe yes. Always beautiful, but also not. Today I smoke my first cigarette in the kitchen. Usually the first cigarette is lit when the alarm clock rings while I'm still in bed, but this time I have to hurry because I have so many things to do. Outside it's getting light. Coffee-flavored cigarettes give me the taste of the morning alarm clock, almost never silent because the cough beats in my chest like the time that passes on the clock. Cough, cough, and more cough. Will I be able to start the engine again today?

Il mio buongiorno del mattino ha gli occhi ancora assonnati. Il caffè è già pronto con una bella sigaretta accesa. Sono così, al naturale. Non perfetta, o forse sì. Bella sempre, ma anche no. Oggi la mia prima sigaretta la fumo dalla cucina. Solitamente la prima sigaretta va accesa al suono della sveglia quando ancora sto nel letto, ma stavolta devo sbrigarmi che ho tante cose da fare. Fuori sta albeggiando. Le sigarette al sapore di caffè mi danno il gusto della sveglia mattutina, quasi mai silenziosa perché la tosse batte nel mio petto come il tempo che scorre sull'orologio. Tosse, tosse, e ancora tosse. Riuscirò ad accendere il motore anche oggi?
