Here's a 14 year flashback, working with Playboy model (back when they were a magazine) Micaela Lola who was visiting her mom's house here in the bay. I used to 100% shoot blind on location because I didn't really have the means to do the research and I was too cocky to think I needed to. My focus would be on trying to capture that perfect frame and then moving on to the next corner of the house. Nowadays I almost always get to the location first and then I stress the fuck out over scene ideas and wardrobe, but the end result it way more "perfect" shots from each scene!

Heather and I dipped in and out of the hotel hallway to get these shots and they came out excellent. She was so anxious to shoot something in an area so tucked away and at the same time begging to run out nude on the veranda overlooking the street. She would've done it, too, if it wasn't literally for those meddling kids and their parents who were staying a couple doors down and on the shared veranda almost ALL DAY.

Carolina is scorching hot in this new set in a new location tentatively known as the Peacock Room. It's a spot I found in Berkeley that was previously owned by a producer who recorded parts of the album Hot Fuss by The Killers, amongst other known artists. Apparently the producer and his wife got divorced and she got the house so she gutted the studio (a future shoot location) and the green room where all the artists would do drugs (the peacock room). A wild backstory to this place that I hope to revisit soon.
ANYWAYS I'm still editing the BTS and the video associated with this so look forward to those coming soon!

My bathroom is so shitty to light, these things were a nightmare to edit but I think the final result gets the point across - Erika is fiiiine. She's a fitness instructor and personal trainer and always makes it a point to shoot with me when she's in town, even if it's something simple like a date with Mr. Bubbles.
There's a video to go along with this, it was shot with an older setup so it's not as stable as my usual stuff, but it's 2.7k ultrawide format and it looks incredible if you have a 21:9 monitor! Sending it out soon🙏🏽

Well, how do you feel about hot naked muscular construction workers now?

We shot this outside in the sun which cast a really terrible shadow from the hardhat onto her face, I had to use two flashes on full fucking power and REALLY close in order to drown out the sun and get these shots. All would've been solved if I'd have remembered my reflector tho. Tsk tsk.

Heather is back! After a year long maternity break, this girl is back at it! We had a great shoot in Nevada City earlier this week and I'm still sifting my way through the piles of photos, footage and BTS. I've actually been using some BTS snippets for a couple reels over my Instagram (@akamikebphoto). A bunch of you came from there today probably looking for more of Carolina aka yourlatinabestie, well the set from the reel is coming up soon, I'm literally sitting in my garage editing it right now haha.

Edyn Nyx at the Palms Place Hotel where like 90% of all Vegas porn is filmed. I brought my RGB bulbs with me and swapped out what they had in the fixtures, behind the frosted glass is a light with some blue gel over it. Some spaced out shit tbh. Her cyperpunk fembot look certainly helped bring the whole thing together tho.

Here's a set I've never posted from like 2014. This is Cacia Zoo and she was definitely a weird one (in an artistic way) but that worked out great because I had a weird fucking set and was doing weird tilt-shift focus stuff at the time. I shot this at my friend Kenzie's flat in San Francisco and I had to move all her shit out of this bay window so I could use it as a backdrop. Another weird thing I was doing at the time was wrapping models in.. things. Lights, bondage tape, rope, whatever. So I gave her these long light cables but the only bulbs I had were CFLs.. It just looks so silly now that I look at it, and this isn't the first time I've done this, either. jfc. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this little bit of insight lmao

I took a huge risk using one of the strongest soft filters in my bag because it really messes with the focus, especially in a low light scenario, and this set was especially dim. Well, thousands of ISO and some denoise later and we've got a sexy set featuring Dakota Simone showing off her thiiiccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc personality.

I asked JMO to throw in her luggage the pair of white bellbottoms I gave her when we shot the pearl necklace scene a while back. This theme needed a pair of confident pants of the era (lol), and I knew that these ones fit her so well that there was no way I'd find as good a pair at Goodwill last minute. This button up top has been used before, as well, with Heather, who I'm shooting with on the 23rd, and I need to go Goodwill shopping for it, wooooo!

Charlé Jay and I go way back, but we haven't shot together in over three years so it was great to catch up with her and get all these great nudes! This little backyard area has also proven to be pretty flexible between Heather, JMO and now Charlé.
Speaking of, I have a tentative shoot with Heather coming up in two weeks. It's the first since the maternity shoot we did (in the same backyard as these images, by the way) and we'll be shooting at this hotel with modern gold rush era old west vibe to it. I don't plan on putting her in chaps, but if I see some at the secondhand I'll probably grab'em.

Asami is new here, as our shoots predate my OF account, but they're from 2019 and I literally just finished editing them. We shot something like 6-7 scenes this day and a ton of video, and I remember culling the images and was not happy with how these came out. The light was too contrasty because I couldn't get my flash dialed in and there were cables in every shot (see last frame in gallery). It's not that it would take a lot of time to correct, it just wasn't worth it against all the other ezmode successful sets. So the set was put in the "incomplete" bin, along with a few others (👀 ) .
This weekend, I saw one of her images out in the wild and it reminded me that I was sitting on a potential gold mine of a set. And it came out better than expected. Like I really truly love some of these. I had no issues with composition, or Asami herself, it was just not a project I was inspired by at the time to prioritize. Definitely a new favorite tho.

This is similar to another set Gina and I shot on the patio up in this hideaway I found in the Los Gatos mountains. She wanted to see how this lingerie piece looked up against the backdrop so we snapped a few. We ended up using this outfit for a later scene, but that doesn't mean these should go to waste!

New JMO video on the TL!
Trying something a bit experimental here - my gimbal has a setting that let's me film in portrait (aka vertical) so I did it just to see how the end product would look (vs cropping horizontal videos like I've been doing) Everything I have shot and planned for the rest of this summer is horizontal, this was purely just an experiment to see how it looks in the finished product and get some feedback from you folks.
Also I shot it with JMO because I knew that'd make y'all mfers watch ;)

JMO has been hit with a string of what we'll call "bad luck" since returning home from her recent visit. She blesses us every time she comes out so if we can send some good vibes her way in return I'm sure she'd appreciate it. She loved how this set came out, tho, and the yellow dress I picked up from goodwill for like $8. The day before the shoot, I cut out the inside liner so that only the thin see through mesh layer was all that remained and it worked perfectly!

I was supposed to shoot with Sin while she was pregnant with her baby boy but I missed out on the opportunity, but recently we got together for a little baby+momma shoot and we couldn't help but shoot some solo stuff as well! She's still slowly getting back into modeling, which means no nudes for the time being, but she still looks stunning against this backdrop!

This corner of the yard has actually been cleared out almost completely with an orange tree sapling planted where the lemonade sits in these photos, setting the stage for an orange juice sequel in 7-8 years, haha.
