HERE WE GO 2021 WITH A NEW FACE actually I did get a set up from Kristina earlier but she's still kinda new so let's gooooooo! First off, I'm really REALLY bad with seasonal stuff. I am always coming up with ideas for shit well after the holiday has passed, like halloween, for example, with today's post. I had already shot this scene with a few other models, and I wanted to add a bit of a subtle horror twist, let me know when you see it. Enjoy!

It's the end of the year! Folks, it has been an amazing year of growth for the photography side of what I do and I want to say thank YOU for the continued support. I don't even want to acknowledge the new year, to be honest, I just want to work through it and keep on expanding my portfolio. I have some big plans for 2022 (complete in-house studio rebuild) as well as a few trips to bring back some of the talent and content I know you guys enjoy. I am going to put together a "bring back survey" very soon, so look out for that post coming up! Thank you!!!

Amazing set featuring Britni and Mo together completely decked in every pearl accessory I brought with me. Despite the content of the set coming out fine, I am still torn on the quality of the PrismFX lens that I used during this shoot. It's a split diopter, so picture a handheld old school magnifying glass with a 1 inch opening cut right down the middle, you can see how it slightly magnifies the image on the top and bottom of each frame. I like that it's like an instant dream filter, and I have used it successfully in that way. What I dislike about it, though, is how it sometimes stretches skin tones, making arms and body parts look weirdly stretched. Also trying to frame TWO people in that thin opening in the filter is a huge pain in the ass. I understand this is probably a minor thing to some of you, but this shit keeps me up at night lol. The number of images and level of nudity varies throughout these sets, especially in the earlier years, so keep that in mind. (In gallery: in chronological order, 2016-2021, one image each from our first 40 scenes) This month marks five years that JMO and I have been working together, can you BELIEVE THAT! 2016. Her: nineteen and pudgy faced. Me: less grey and bald spot was notably less pronounced. Camera: Canon 6D. BTC: $765. She posted a travel notice on an old photographer/model site and her modeling experienced kinda matched what I was looking for with this Christmas theme I was shooting that month. She was sweet, engaging, not at and not at all nervous in front of the camera. She was still inexperienced, though, and her posing skills reflect this. I, too, was pretty clueless on how to pose a model at the time, but we stumbled our way through it and eventually got to a staggering 50 scenes! Despite all that, we still make a point to shoot every time she's in Cali and I (and YOU) am thankful for that. As time goes by, I realize that JMO has become my muse; When we hit a location we both go into like creative brain synergy mode or some shit because we're just piecing together outfits and scene ideas left and right. She has grown immeasurably as a model, and as a woman. I have immense respect for her and if she quit modeling tomorrow I would be satisfied with the body of work we have created, but still hella mad.

(POST 2 OF 2 haha) From a technical perspective, this shoot took place DURING sunset, so the light was changing drastically between the beginning of the photoshoot and the end of the video shoot segment. I used my massive 6ft umbrella with a diffuser to breakup the light enough to pass as a giant window. It worked *okay* but I'm satisfied with the results.

I worked with Carolina (yellow dress) and Adelina (not yellow dress) separately and later discovered that they kinda knew each other through the modeling scene. I figured they would probably get along on set but I had no idea they would be THIS comfortable with each other! (CONT)

This grumpy little shit wouldn't let us shoot without crawling all over the set and then getting mad when we tried to get it to move haha. We rented this space to shoot in but with it came the responsibility of dealing with the cat, it didn't seem to mind us working scenes elsewhere in the house but for some reason THIS room was off limits. Lindsay and I were between shooting scenes for someone else and decided to sneak off to the bedroom to get some quick nudes in. Not as many as I would like, but it was too good of a story to just trash the entire set hah.

It's been seven years since I last worked with Devi, an international legend in the art modeling scene. I actually thought she had retired and was only posting shots from her "modelling days" on instagram (because she still looked the same) until I reached out asking about it.. She said "nah, I'm still modelling dumbass" and I was like "fuck, I'm omw" and I threw a bunch of clothes in the truck and headed out to the hills to get these shots (and more!) Enjoy!

Here she is, though, in all her magnificent glory with her huge boobs and super dark areolas (which is a new development) and, of course, her baby bump. I love that Heather has the cojones to keep modelling all through pregnancy and I hope she continues to model afterward!

Got another JMO drop here! At her fulltime gig, they classify her as "ambiguous brown" which is a nice way of saying "you look kinda mexican" and, while it wasn't our intention with this shoot, I couldn't help but to look at these final images and agree lol. ANAIS DIOR RETURNS! Had an insane shoot week, as you guys have probably seen, and I got to spend a couple days with Anais at the Vallejo house which means π―πͺπ·π¬π N U D E S! This shoot got off on a hilarious start, fog machine tripped the smoke detector that was on the far side of the house and upstairs, haha. It was so polite too, like "excuse me folks, there's smoke in the hallway" I put the clip at the very end of the gallery. Maria came over to do a test shoot in the spa with me and BOY was I not prepared for the heat she both brought and could take.. I had that spa up to 105 to get that steam and she loved it wtf? You guys also need to understand that these shots, although not nude, are *extra* special because Maria was raised in a culture where showing this much skin is basically blasphemous.
