I was going through an old HD and found these screencaps (Hit "like" if you like #26 🍆) these were from my first time doing a cooking show in April 2015. Back then the site I streamed on was 320p... which is why it looks so pixelated. It was a special 4 hour password show I did for like 8 people (it wasn't done in public chat). We cooked snickerdoodle cookies and I sent a batch to some by mail because back then I lived in the US and it was easier to mail stuff. It was a lot of fun! here are about 30 screencaps in various states of undress. I wish we had cool stuff like OBS back then and I had a recording, sadly all I have are screencaps, but I hope you enjoy seeing them nonetheless! 😉

This is the Asakusa temple in Tokyo where I learned how different religions can actually be! In the Shinto tradition there is no narrative at all, no holy books, no organized collective ritual like mass would be. People go into the temple and there are a number of meaningful activities you can do like washing your hands (purification), burning incense (to connect to the highest places), you can throw a coin into a box, clap and bow (to show respect) get your fortune told by different means like pulling a stick with an inscription out of a cabinet with tons of drawers which reminded me of chinese fortune cookies (divination), writing your wishes in pieces of paper to knot on a holy tree and buying amulets for health, luck or money. There are many figures throughout the temple you can also pray to if you are so inclined but most Japanese people don't actually pray, the temple monks do it for the most part.
