Did you know that it is M.E awareness week? I was diagnosed back in 2006 and it changed the course of my life forever. Often dismissed by medical practitioners, M.E / CFS is a hidden disability that impacts approximately 17 million people world wide. There is no treatment, nor cure, with only 40% of those afflicted making a full recovery. There are many varied symptoms, including those above, that M.E sufferers experience daily. M.E can also cause brain damage and unfortunately in some cases, be fatal. You will find that many creators here on the platform suffer from a hidden disability as it can be impossible for us to work for anyone else but ourselves.
