things didn't go as planned, but there's something kind of peaceful about being snowed in at my sister's apartment with her & my niece. i'm supposed to be with my extended family in canada right now. unfortunately, we got turned away at the border and had to head home. holidays aren't really something i care for, but it was nice seeing how excited my 30-year-old sister become over the giant, pink, sparkly nutcracker i gifted her. i turn 22 tomorrow. i never really found much significance in that day either. why do other people always have an expectation for me to do something special on my birthday? anyway, it'll forever be bittersweet because olli should be 19 today, but instead he's dead.

oop i think i finally resetted my sleeping schedule to be something kinda normal now. anyway, uhhhh the other night in seattle, i decided to go to emo nite. it's pretty much exactly how it sounds: emo night at da club, people getting dronk and jamming to pop-punk/rock/whatever alternative hits. i stopped by a bar beforehand to grab a drink & burger first. i was sat there at the bartop all alone & awkward. the person who sat to the left of me was pretty chill & we were chatting for a bit! the person who sat to the right of me was nice too & i gave him my snap simply because we were having a nice conversation about raves & he asked. anyway, after my drink & burger, i walked over to the emo nite event and find myself stuck in a crowd that's jamming to songs that were released when i was 4. unsure of how to let loose when i can't even recognize most of the songs, i order a drink, wander around a bit and sit in a corner. after finishing that drink, i order another and then return to my corner. i was going to stop there after my 3rd drink of the night when a group of girls adopted me & offered to get me another drink. i couldn't say no because i wanted friends & they were were nice. i had a good time with them except that 4th drink was getting me SLOSHED. i ended up puking twice and passing out in my car for an hour before heading home at 2 am. i happened to be parked directly in front of a busy restaurant, so no one tried to smash my windows & rob me or anything, but being uncΓ΅nscious in the middle of the night out in the city is not generally safe. π even though i got to meΔt nice people that night, uhmmmm fuck social interactions & the outside world. i hate leaving my nest, it was very draining. also the right-side guy from the bar will NOT STOP MESSAGING ME. like bro we had 1 conversation & i gave you my snap so we can look at each other's stories, and that's supposed to be the entire extent of our social interaction. like pls don't talk to me again.
