Lately I have been struggling with my work... I just haven't been feelin my work recently. It took me a couple tries till I was somewhat happy with these edits. The first couple when the sun was lower I love! I think as the sun was coming up I should have lowered my IOS to counter it. When taking self portraits I use my phone and I didn't realize the change in light till looking at everything on my computer, win some and lose some 🤷♀️ One of the photos is in there twice with slightly different edits... I just couldn't decide 😅

There are parts I like from all 3 and parts that I look at like wtf am I doing 😂 I did not manage to get one take of a whole video I liked but all 3 are solid enough to share 😂 I LOVE the lighting and simplicity of that little corner. Should I do a shoot there? Possibly make a video?

Purse Self Portrait Set I jacked my moms purse for this set 😅 This is another set that was accepted for publication and I have not heard anything since... I have been sitting on it for about 4 months now and just dont want to hold onto it anymore... Apparently it was published June 2nd... but who knows because I have not received any information... I checked the magazines site and instagram... both say that the issue has been published but I cannot find it anywhere soooo idk... but I am proud of this set and think its pretty badass! I made the call to share it rather than keep waiting! :)

I apologize for the shitty quality 🙈 these are OLD photos, maybe 2015/2016 ish. Back when I first started playing around with a dslr camera that I borrowed from an x 😅 when I first started taking photos, they definitely were way more sexual. I was figuring a lot of shit out at the time and exploring more of what I wanted to do/create despite what society says. I rebelled 100% 😂 I needed to get that out of my system and figure out my style. I want what I do now to truely be seen as nude art. I would still create photos like these but I feel like if I did my message would be lost. I am a sexual being but my message is that nudity does not have to mean sex. Things can be sensual and not be porn. Photos like these make my message VERY unclear so I tend to not produce things like this anymore. The sad thing about that tho is I should be able to or feel like I can without my message being lost but that is not the case because these are VERY sexual. That is the intention behind them. Idk that’s a ramble I guess but that is what I struggle with when creating and having certain ideas/moods come up.

2020-07-15 16:12:27 +0000 UTC View PostFirst time filming someone else :) I bought a gimbal and NEED to figure out how to use it better 😅😂 You can tell the difference in my handheld shots vs my gimbal shots... but using the gimbal was frustrating af bc i struggled to get it to cooperate with me haha but once it did! fire! I definitely want to work more with video. The music choice gave this such a vibe where I was able to use my fucked up clips to my advantage, or at least I think they worked haha. the clips where its kinda shakey or not quite focused correctly almost gives it a mysterious or uneasy feel that works with the music. At least I think works with the music haha. I would love to hear thoughts or feedback, good or bad! First time filming someone else and using a gimbal im pretty happy. 100% see areas I can grow and improve on but Im getting somewhere!

Felt good to move in more challenging ways! I have been shooting/editing and doing so much research/development lately I haven’t made time for myself. Even tho that session was quick, it was so needed! The second video is just the ending from the first video in case you just want to see the final crazy pose I got into. The wiggling of my foot to move myself over to make my legs look more 180 😂😂😂😂 so funny! I used to plan out my floor routine based off where the judges were sitting and what angle they would get for certain skills that I knew they would take deductions on. This was a little reminder of those days 😂

All the things to think about... story telling, angles, transitions, camera movement, model movement, music, camera settings are a tiny bit different, ect. it just overwhelmed me. I was also super scared of failure... but i took the first step and completed filming, modeling, and editing my first attempt at a professional looking video and I am super proud of myself 😍 I taught myself photography and I guess now onto videography. I am by no means saying its perfect. I have spots where its over exposed, I am sure professional color corrector people see a butt ton of mistakes, I filmed vertically the first day out of habit with taking photos forgetting that the sizes of film wouldn't match to the horizontal shots I took (to fix that I increased the size which I think messed up a little bit of quality during 2 parts), I should have made the intro a bit shorter, ect. Those are just some of the things that I personally noticed... I am sure more experienced videographers have some critiques for me (which I would LOVE to know because it can only help me improve!). I did finish my first attempt at video and that is the first step!!! I can only get better from here and I am proud of what I have created :) I am proud I was able to have camera movement even tho 90% of the shots the camera is on a tripod. I am proud at how I decided to put all the different shots together. I am STOKED about my music choice. I looked forever and ended up finding this in my spotify playlist that I listen to while editing sometimes and layered it with rain throughout the video to get the ambiance of a shower feel. I think the part where the camera looking up and the shower turns on is DOPE AF and goes with the music so well! I figured out how to make water droplets fall off a leaf to the beat which is just magic! I edited a section using an overlay of 2 parts: spinning by the bathroom counter focused on the leafs and the camera looking up at the water coming down from the shower head. That section came together SO NICELY. The "extra" part of the boom boom boom and the 3 shots flashing I was unsure about but now I LOVE. I proud of the fact that for a first video I pushed for more than just lining all the clips up and adding transitions. I attempted to get creative with how I showcased everything and also not overdoing it at the same time. (I will probably look back at it 2 years from now and think its shit but that means I have grown and that is a good thing 😁) Filmed, edited, and in frame by @fine_lines__ Song: Tik Tok by Casino Bianco

After uploading the photos on day 1 I knew I could do better. Some of my settings just did not turn out how I wanted them to look and I wanted to change up my lighting, so I tried again the next day. SO HAPPY I DID! I used photos from both the first and second day but I was really happy with how day 2 turned out. The Wet T-Shirt portion of this set was published in @fusemagazine (instagram: @fuse_magazine ) 😁🙌 When editing I painted over EVERY single water droplet 😬😬😬 in order to brighten the water just slightly and make sure it was not effected when I used the technique of frequency separation on the skin. It took a BUTT TON of time but very worth it. I am slightly ocd and a perfectionist... 😬✌️ lol details are huge for me... I think a lot of people would have skipped bringing the water droplets out but I am happy I put in the time/effort.

I also was not THRILLED about any of my posing so the time to edit a photo just did not seem worth it. I will probably post the lightroom edits soon so that you can see the difference :)

I wanted to take some cute photos while it was on blast and mikes reaction was to pick my up higher and spread my cheeks 🙄😂😂😂🙈 so there ya go. You can thank mike for those photos 😂 The editing software is pretty user friendly... definitely beginner stuff... if I can use photoshop and screen record without it glitching I’m just gonna go for it! Hopefully be able to show you guys some of my editing process soon!
