Anyways, the real reason I'm here is because I need your suggestions for models you'd like to see me work with this coming year. I have a survey I'll be sending out in a couple weeks to see who you want me to bring back, but some fresh talent is always welcome. I'm looking to take at least a handful of trips next year, so any models in CA, TX, Atlanta, Portland, Seattle and Vegas are all reasonable locations for me to hit up. Pokket is a popular streamer/cosplayer who has been a good friend of mine for almost 10 years, we actually use to host a ton of shows together, too. Some years ago, we happen to be attending the same games convention and decided we'd try and plan a shoot. She booked this beautiful bed and breakfast and we did this sick vampire-in-a-clawfoot-tub-full-of-blood scene and then moved into the bedroom to shoot some more sensual stuff. Now, Pokket had never done nudes, nor had we planned on doing so, but she was open to implied and that was good enough for me. Well, the shoot was cut short by an individual she was travelling with crashing the shoot early, and then apparently had persuaded her to make some last minute changes to the final images by asking that I layer on some intense censoring on almost all exposed skin below the collar bone. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the final outcome, but out of respect I obliged with their requests. Fast forward to last night, we talked about it and she said she's always felt bad for how it all went down and asked that I revisit it and, of course, I jumped at the opportunity to do so. Now she feels better, I feel better, and now you can see how those photos originally intended to look.
Introducing @sabrinanichole! Sabrina is a former playboy model and an immensely popular cosplayer/model. I started following her work some years back but we were states away so working together wasn't going to happen. Flash forward to a couple months ago when she tweets out that she's looking for LA photographers *and I just happened to be looking for LA models* for my trip! In the end, we did a SHITLOAD of scenes across two days with tons and tons of video, one of which is available with this set.
The last image in the gallery is a preview of what the POV BTS video looks like. It's a 5 minute fully POV video featuring music and blips of banter so you can hear how the shoot is conducted as well as see it from my perspective. I'll be sending it out to everyone ASAP.
I got so caught up in getting new stuff shot and processed that I forgot I had some unreleased MK stuff to go through! We're gonna get everything out before the end of the month tho, k? Preview video at the end of this, full length is pretttttyyyy explicit and will be going out via DMs asap.
I would say I risked my life to get these photos, but I already had covid just like a month ago so I SHOULD be okay. Let me tell you, though, downtown LA is scary.. Lindsay and I were counting how many people in a row would walk by us who weren't wearing masks and, while we didn't make it past two, we hit two in a row a LOT. We did our best to be cautious, of course, wearing masks even while indoors with the models and disinfecting all surfaces and spraying lysol everywhere to keep the risk low. BUT BOY DID WE GET SOME AMAZING CONTENT! Huge thanks to Sabrina Nichole, Meaghan Stanfill, PaisleyTheBlueprint, and Lindsay Muse (ESPECIALLY Lindsay!)
Almost 6000 photos, hours of video, and the previews above is barely half the total sets we shot (Lindsay did a few sets as well, her photos are on a different drive atm). I still have some content to put together from my shoots with Heather and Britni, AND I have some MkBlondie stuff to finalize as well, but you can expect to see some of this work very soon. Depending on how COVID pans out, I'll probably continue on this path of only booking once every couple of months but make it BIG. BIG venues, BIG models, BIG, uh, content.

Quick update! Just got done shooting with Meaghan Stanfill, got one more shoot with Sabrina Nichole and then probably a couple more scenes with Lindsay and then tomorrow we pack up and head home! Iām gonna be working furiously on some of these because weāve got some really. good. shit.

This was from an experimental one-time set that I had built exclusively for Celeste Rasmussen. It was a three-part series using color presets I had made with the hues lights; one with 'normal' light, one with sort of this cyberpunk color look then this all red preset where she wore a blindfold with her hands bound behind her back, I'll have to post it sometime! After we got all the photos we needed we still had some time to fill so we made this.

I've almost got my schedule fully fleshed out for my LA tour next week. I'll throw updates in here as things happens. So far I have *ahem* Playboy Bunny Sabrina Nichole for two days, Playboy/Penthouse Playmate Meaghan Stanfill for a day, of course Lindsay is going so she'll probably do a bunch of scenes, a model I did some implieds with a couple years back who wants to shoot nudes now, and probably two more, it's gonna be a great trip.

A long long time ago, our Disney Princess JMO and I had an agreement that we wouldn't release any nudes until she felt comfortable doing so. Some 50 scenes later, she made the call the start releasing them and the internet celebrated. I asked her if she would mind if I went back and started redoing old shoots and release the nude content we had previously censored and she gave me the okay so here we are, starting with On Paper 2017. Now, truth be told, there are not like hundreds of JMO nudes floating around on my hard drives, but I absolutely have a sizable collection that I'll be sifting through to process and update some of these older shoots. With this I will also be sending out the full timelapse of the photoshoot, uncensored, to your inboxes (preview image at the end) for a premium. These timelapses are how I archive BTS, so as I go through I may just release them all for you guys since I know BTS is one a hot commodity right now (almost more than the damn photos themselves!).

Fair warning, this is the most explicit photoset I've probably ever shot and it's totally Mkay's fault. It is a voyeur concept that shows Mkay coming home, probably from work, for a quick lunch break and some quick me-time around the apartment. I asked her to just work the room and try and get crazy over by the pool table while I stood on a ladder and did my conveniently placed camera impression. At first I honestly felt they were a bit over the top, but after this fucking year? Pfftt. At no point did I direct her to start working that pool stick like she did, but I definitely had to hold back my laugh when she did. Out of respect, of course, she is an artist at work here!

Lindsay is coming with me on my weeklong photography tour in LA next month! Sheās going to be available as an assistant, hair and make up, and as a model. This is fantastic news because this trip is pretty daunting so having someone there to help really takes some of the heat off of me. Also, there are timeslots where itās just not reasonable to try and book a model and she can fill those gaps easily.

I have also confirmed Sabrina Nicole aka @sabrinanichole for two half day sessions at two different Airbnb locations. This basically makes the trip, everything after this is going to be bonus material haha. Iāve been a fan of Sabrinaās for a while and she just recently moved to LA and put out a notice that she was looking for photographers in the area, literally the day after I had booked locations this tour. The timing is *kisses fingers*. Obviously I still have some time slots to fill so Iām going to work on that in the event that something falls through. Gotta always have a backup plan!

I think what I like most about this disposable camera look is you almost can't fuck it up. When something is off-center, or maybe the hands are blurry from movement, it actually looks MORE authentic.

Just like probably some of you, I sub to a *ton* of models here on OF, and I wanted to briefly talk about how they post content vs how I post. First off, I'll sub to a model because I want to see work she's done with other photographers and usually I'm greeted with selfies paired with literal close up pictures of their butthole. Now, I'm a dude that likes butts (Erika's @flarika_ being one of my favorites, as evidenced by the above set), but when they are spam posting daily to hit their "I post daily" goal stated in their bio by JUST uploading 1-2 images per post? That seems disingenuous to me. Videos don't count, of course, as they are *technically* a collection of images ;), but usually the pictures are from the same set and now you're stuck having to enjoy them over several posts spanning literal days. Personally, I prefer to post several images from a set (usually 7+) which ultimately leads to posting only a couple times a week vs everyday. Now, I COULD post everyday, but I don't think you guys would like that because it's just artificially inflating my post count to farm likes and you'd be like I am right now.. endlessly scrolling through a feed to piece together a single set. Now I'm willing to budge if this is something people actually prefer, but I'm willing to be it's not, so I will continue throwing CHONKS of images at you guys to keep the feed pollution down š¤š¤
You guys are gonna be seeing lots of Heather and Britni over the holiday season as I'm planning a trip next month to LA to shoot at multiple locations and Heather just happened to move down to LA so we're probably gonna set something up at one of these locations. Britni also confirmed that she's going to head down there for that same weekend so we can shoot a bunch as well. I am going to start reaching out to a few LA models I had been wanting to work with, too, so I'll keep you guys posted!
I don't shoot many Halloween themed sets, so let's pretend that this set is a pair of creepy murderous dolls who will later turn on their owners, k? There's a sexy 6 minute video going out to your inboxes so look out for that in the coming days (OF takes literal days to send mass messages at times).
I do have a story to go along with this, it's about how I did this whole shoot while unknowingly infected with COVID-19. Before I continue, though, neither model got it and the reason why is because I made sure there was sufficient air flow inside the airbnb AND I wore a mask. Some of you have already heard this story on my other social platforms, so you can skip to the end if you'd like. Long story short, I had to get a replacement license at the DMV on the 16th and had to remove my mask for an updated picture. The spot where they take the pictures had poor ventilation and, of course, loads of people taking off their masks to get pictures taken. I took off my mask for all of 15-20 seconds, trying to take small breaths, and then quickly put it back on. Unfortunately, that's all it took.
I started experiencing symptoms 7 days later, which was 3 days after my shoot with the girls. Went and got a test immediately and isolated myself to the studio in the house. I notified both Britni and Heather that I wasn't feeling well and was waiting on test results, both said they were feeling fine. Sunday the 27th, now 11 days past my infection date, I got a positive result. I immediately called both models, since they were literally the only other people I was around outside of the DMV in that two week period, and they both took action with isolation/testing. Thankfully neither caught it, likely for the reasons mentioned above. I spent probably 9-10 hours *indoors* with Heather and Britni, but I played it safe and it paid off.
As far as I'm concerned, I got to experience all symptoms sans the shortness of breath (thankfully), but the one that is still lingering is fatigue and MAN does it suck. It seems to just hit me at random and it renders me incapable of doing much of anything for hours at a time. It has certainly improved over the past couple days but is something I'll be dealing with for *hopefully* just another week or two. All things considered, I got very lucky.
TLDR covid sucks, wear a mask.
I'm always excited to bring on new talent to the feeds and this time we have Heather to thank for introducing us to @bbmyhre! She's a 22 y/o Latina who is going through a 90s metal phase, listening to Korn, Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, etc. She cracked me up with the line "I watch a lot of horror movies and I was floored when I found out Rob Zombie used to be in a band."

That's right, new work with Heather! A bit delayed on getting these out, I've had just am unbelievably bad week of life shit happen but I'm powering through it. Last Sunday Heather, Britni and I tag teamed in and out to make content all over this stunning Airbnb. You've probably already seen the tour video, and I also have some BTS video that'll be accompanying some of these sets, so there's like content on top of content. Like I said before, it was a good day, and I hope you all enjoy the content we worked so hard to make.
Today was a good day. I just spent the entire afternoon with @bbmyhre and Heather and I am walking away with thousands of photos to sift through and 200gb of BTS video. We did a couple of duo shoots and then a whole bunch of solos and they all went amazingly well. I mentioned in the previous video that I had two more models coming in this evening, unfortunately they wonāt be here until closer to midnight and thatās just not reasonable for me to even attempt to get good images from. No big, Iām more than pleased with what I got today šš½
Two years ago I was running back -to-back shoots in these huge downtown LA lofts. In roughly 72 hours I had amassed 30 scenes and have been slowly chipping away at those over the years. Last week I stumbled upon this block of completely untouched sets I had shot with Mkay. Our main goal was to shoot for the On Paper series, but we wrapped that scene so quickly that we improvised the rest of our allotted time. We did some pretty random shit that day.
This is the first of a short DTLA series featuring Mkay that will include photos, videos and some BTS, the first installment is also the tamest set, as you've probably seen on my twitter (@akamikebphoto). I plan on getting these out fairly rapidly over the next several weeks as I start getting sets together from my shoot this weekend with Heather Monique and Britni (WOO!).

I was just reminded that I hadn't uploaded this yet, thanks for that! Consider this an example of how I shoot POV BTS videos (vs regular BTS with a stationary cam). These will mostly be offered at a premium, but I think it's good to drop one in the feed every so often ;) FYI This is an Insta360 action cam that is strapped to my hat and captures all the action and dialog from a shoot, and I plan on using it as often as possible. Night shots are still a bit rough with action cams in general, but considering the environment I think this video came out pretty good. Enjoy!
Shasta Wonder, one of the first big models to start traveling again after the initial shock of the pandemic, came by for a swim! I've realized the spa is most effective at producing steam when it's not a hundred degrees outside at night. I had this thing set to 106 just to create the tiniest bit of steam, but Shasta said it felt great! The rig I had to build to make this lighting work is fucking RIDICULOUS. tldr tupperware filled with cat litter for weight, flat panel RGB LED pressed between litter and locking lid and submerged into the water for an underlight, yes, I am serious, check the last image. I'm thinking of switching to sand for the next build. There's a video that will be following this. I'm still playing editing catchup since getting my hand cast remove, I just started being able to touch my thumb to my pinky woo!
I don't want to jinx it, but I have a G/G shoot coming up on the 20th with Heather Monique and someone we haven't seen around here yet š Otherwise shoots are starting to come together again, albeit it's a struggle. Between lack of locations, lack of models traveling and lack of reasonable rates (tons of talent are starting to raise their rates significantly for some reason), getting a single shoot done is just such an accomplishment, haha. Things are moving again, and I have plans to make an LA trip at some point and just doing a bonkers amount of photoshoots, wearing proper PPE of course.
I'm sorta digging this disposable camera look lately, has that end-of-summer-looking-back-at-good-times mood knawmean? It's also a simple look to execute and a nice contrast to some of the moodier stuff I typically do. This is @xoxmia, by the way, she lives pretty close and was down to do a late night shoot at my place. She was cracking me up, she was so excited to be shooting again she was literally hopping around while we were setting up.
