I really do think human nature to want to protect yourself from painful, negative or uncomfortable feelings and experiences in life! However when this protection turns to projection, it may be time to take a look at why you’re doing it you know? Like take a step back and are you screaming at the waiter who got your order wrong bc they really are just incompetent or maybe they are new and you are just being a douche because some shit going on inside yoooo brain🤔🤔. Taking time to look at your toxic traits and why you have them will improve not only your self-esteem, but also your relationships with others, whether they be co-workers, a spouse, close friends or even family.
Sobriety really is funny because I’m starting to learn that my trauma doesn’t defined me nor does it give me a reason to be hateful. AND SOMETIMES shit was my fault. Sometimes I MADE poor choice. I didn’t deserve anything that happened to me.
Some people will never understand your trauma and instead of jealousy we should be HAPPY.
